I've used the medium peel only twice (3 weeks apart)and I certainly notice my skin looks radiant & soft. The first peel took the longest to completely peel and the 2nd was easy & within 48 hrs noticed my nice, new radiance. I'll continue to use the medium and perhaps go stronger next winter. Very easy to use & the moisturizer (hyaluronic) is lovely & silky. I also use a vitamin E gel that seems to really boost the moisturizing. Just a mention...I found the 1st application quite uncomfortable for about 30 seconds, but a cold cloth remedies that.

I like how the Glycolic products don't contain alcohol, making them gentle for everyone. Although this concentration is a little too lightweight for me - I think I'm going to need the 20% concentration. But for general smoothing and tightening, this is great.

I use this all over my face once a week, and whenever needed, apply it as a "spot-treatment" for any acne flare-ups. I remove it with water after 10 seconds, and the mist my face with pure rosewater which helps deactivate any residue from the exfoliator. I am able to use this frequently because my skin is fairly thick and mostly oily - I imagine my regimen would be too strong for other skin-types. My skin is more smooth, luminous, and clear because of this exfoliator. It does sting/burn a lot when it is on, but as far as I've experienced, it doesn't cause any redness, irritation, or flaking after it is removed. I love it!

I suffer from chronic acne: no amount of washing, exfoliating, or medication/treatments (including lasers) seemed to help for long. A few years ago, my skin also started to look "patchy" with darker, uneven areas. I have used this kit for a couple of weeks and I am seeing improvements in the oiliness, acne, darker areas, and skin texture. My skin no longer feels inflamed or thickened. I enjoyed using it. It is easy to have a peel at home and much cheaper than to have the same in beauty clinic. Its stings at first and I've got redness second time I used it, but it was gone in one hour. My skin almost didn't peel but felt tight first 2-3 days. On the 6th day skin looks perfect. I plan to have more peels before I'll go to deeper type peel. Hialuronic moisturizer used in addition care for after peel helps a lot.

Since I received my kit, I used it twice. It's very easy to use, particularly thanks to the instructions document sent with the kit.Considering on the first use I did'nt experience any complication or inconvenience, I let the acid work up to 8 minuts on the second use. Anyway, the result is not as good as I hoped : my skin looks better, small wrinkles look smaller, and pores are a little reduced but micro cysts are still here. I chose a 50% strength peel bcs I was afraid to buy something too strong but I think now I probably should have bought a 70% GLYCOLIC ACID kit.Anyway, I'm going to keep using my kit every 2 weeks to go on improving my skin aspect gently.Next time I order a kit, I certainly will buy a stronger concentrated acid.

The "acne cure" book changed my life. I had great skin until my 30's. Then it all changed. I tried everything. Spent thousands, probably tens of thousands with doctors ~~~ until I found that book. (which didn't even sell a product! How great, huh?) The combination of ice packs, Salicylic Acid 5%, glycolic acid, and benzoyl peroxide works excellently for me. I don't wear make-up and always get comments on my skin. (Even now in my 40's) I panic a little when I run out. (But don't buy in bulk or too large of a container. This product does have a distinct smell and at first it turned me off, but the fact that it does not break me out and it actually soothes my skin has won me over. I now use it in combination with 100% Pure Hyaluronic Moisturizer Serum which has the affect of toning the smell down. It is good under make-up and the days I skipped using it I could tell a difference in how my skin acted, especially on days directly after a peel.

I was initially unimpressed by this product, but once I started using a gauze pad with the cleanser I started seeing great results. I use this cleanser for 7 days after a peel and then switch back to the glycolic cleanser the next 7 days leading up to my next peel. It has taken some time and breakouts, but I am really seeing a great difference in my skin.

This kit is easy to use. The instuctions were clear. Great cleanser and the smell puts me in a good mood first thing in the morning. We live in a hard water area so I found that using a gauze pad vs my fingers helps me get the results I want. I had never thought about using gauze before seeing it recommended with the peels, but I think the fact that it is sterile and used one time helps with keeping break outs at a minimum. Definitely broke out more when I first started using the cleansers, toners, and peels while they were working all the stuff out of my skin, but it has been completely worth the results.

Definitely not for the first time user of a peel. If you have not done peels in the past really do listen and start with a 10% or 20% and work your way up. Even with 10% first time users can be itchy, stingy, and scratchy. I have found that a fan helps, but friends of mine say fans make them more uncomfortable. What I have learned through a great deal of trial and error is you need to leave the peel on longer then you think in order to get the results you want. You will definitely break out more at first, but continued use at 2-3 week intervals really does produce great results at about a 10th of the salon or spa price. I will definitely keep coming back and I am looking forward to trying the lightening peels.

It's really simple to use, anyone can do this at home instead of spending lots of money at the "professionals".But don't forget to prepare your skin before doing it. The only thing thant isn't great about it is that the week after doing it you're not to pretty, but after this everything is great, your skin is brighter, soother and softer. I love this product because it allows you to get almost instant results without down time (who has 1-2weeks to be out of commission). I had used the Jessner peel about six months ago, it worked well but required down time and more time for max results. I got this product for maintenance purposes and it exceeded my expectations. I saw light flaking after a day and was able to apply my normal skin lightner after a couple of days. The glycolic really enhanced the effectiveness of the lightner!

I am so happy with this product. I have had problems with oily skin, acne and large pores. I noticed a difference after 2 days using the exfoliator. My skin is less oily, my blemishes are gone, it has changed the texture of my skin and my skin is alot more smoother. I was paying $85-$100 for glycolic peels at the salon every two weeks. This product is amazing. I got it for my hyperpigmentation marks. I suffered from hyperpigmentation marks for 7 years. i had them on the cheek, and forehead. great product. The first application I used one layer and kept it on for one min. Two weeks later I applied a single layer, also for one min. Did not see a change in hyperpigmentation. Also no visible frosting or peeling occured. Did another treatment one week later. I did 3 layers and left the last layer on for 5 min. I did feel tingling and a slight burning sensation. Two days later, I began to peel (especially around my nose) then 2 days later it was all healed, and my skin glows!!!!!!

I use this product twice or three times a month. It is great to keep my skin actively exfoliating because I have very oily congested skin even at my age. I follow a very strict regime to control my melasma which includes use of these products with a product from my doctor. I also do my own 14% Jessner Peel purchased from Natural Skin Shop. I've been able to control what my Aesthetian use to do as I'm temporarily living in China and on my own to take care of my skin. After researching OTC products for a usable, cost-effective peel, I chose this combination Alpha-Beta Light Peel kit. After being cautious with the initial peels, I have now become very comfortable with using the peel every 5 - 7 days. There is minimal tingle, stinging upon application, but after a minute or two it subsides. Suggest that you use the baking soda solution to deactivate the peels each time you use it for both the salicylic and glycolic. Application of water to rinse without the solution produced uncomfortable burning. I am very pleased with my results thus far, and notice a big difference in pore size and a surfacing of black head materials so they can be removed with gentle/non-scarring effort. Will continue to use this kit until completion and move up to the medium peel kit on next purchase.
