BEST PRODUCT ON THIS SITE BY FAR!!!2/3/12This product is amazing. I got it for my hyperpigmentation marks. I suffered from hyperpigmentation marks for 7 years. i had them on the cheek, and forehead. So bad that if i take a picture, that's all you will notice on my face. I tried everything to get rid of them but they never work. they just got worse and worse. The first time I used the jessner peel, I seen amazing results. The only thing that you may not like about the jessner peel is the way your skin will look for the next 3 to 4 days after applying it. it will look horrible because of the dead layer laying on top of your new layer of skin. your skin will go back to normal with in 5 days. I guarantee you will be amazed on how great this peel works. It will remove every thing negative on your face;pimples, wrinkles and dark spots will be eliminated in just one use. Deep strength peel - Immediate results2/3/12Ok ladies. This product is not for the faint hearted. It delivers exactly what it promises - an immediate peel. Please use with caution the first time around. I would recommend investing in a thin beauty/makeup brush, rather than applying this with a gauze pad as a very light application is best. I tend to find leaving the product on for less than 3 minutes at a time and washing thoroughly with water gives a gentler result. Be prepared for the peeling, but once that subsides, WOW! my pores were near invisible and my skin was glowing. Don't use before a big event, but definitely give it a go if (like me) you have oily congested skin with open pores.

great results2/3/12great product. The first application I used one layer and kept it on for one min. Two weeks later I applied a single layer, also for one min. Did not see a change in hyperpigmentation. Also no visible frosting or peeling occured.
Did another treatment one week later. I did 3 layers and left the last layer on for 5 min. I did feel tingling and a slight burning sensation.
Two days later, I began to peel (especially around my nose) then 2 days later it was all healed, and my skin glows!!!!!!

Who knew!12/14/11After decades of using prescription and over the counter retin A & glycolic products I had to face facts it was not going to give me the results I wanted. I kept thinking it was my inability to keep to a routine that caused the poor results. So I tried the Jessner peel and am ecstatic with the results so far.

I'm a little lazy12/14/11Still not seeing major results but I am not using it as regularly as I should. Really need to buy an application brush when you get this product. The cotton or gauze recommended for application really does give a even application. Directions are easy to follow and everything other than the neutralizer and cleanser cums in the kit. really like this as a first time chemical peel.

working on ME12/14/11I just did this peel weds and today is friday and my face looks like I got burned which I already expected.I have to say I like the peel.The reason I bought it was for acne that I could not get rid of I have very oily skin and heard jojoba oil helps regulate oil production so I started washing my face with 100 percent jojoba oil this broke me out bad it clogged my pores and I couldnt get rid of the acne since im not working right now, I dont have money to get it done by a professional.At first I was scared this would burn my face well it actually did but in a good way.Im just waiting for my face to peel.I did 3 layers because I have thick oily skin.This peel is no joke it works,It burns like a motha but if you have past experience with peels you should already know what your in for.So now I just have to wait for my monster face to peel.Ill keep you guys updated with the final results.

trying it out12/14/11i did this peel 4 days ago for my first time, it frosted over, burned a bit but not to bad.>> im on day 4 and have had no change to my skin yet so im curious to see if it will work or not. my skin is dry but nothing more, feels fine with moisturizer on. Gave this peel 3 stars because i still don't know if it will work or if my skin just peels slower then most.. ill post again if it works.

Not sure12/14/11I have experienced one chemical peel in a spa setting. I do not know what type of solution they used, but I had phenomenal results, with peeling starting the day after treatment and had 4 good peels throughout a week from the one treatment, meaning very moist skin peeling off in sheets. This is the type of result I was seeking with the Jessner peel I purchased from Skin Obsession. The first day I tried just one layer (5 minutes) and rinsed. The next day my skin was absolutely normal looking (no redness, no dryness, etc), so I decided to try again with two layers (5 minutes each layer). I now have some dry spots around my nose and some browning dots here and there, ultimately my skin is kind of dry. This is very different from the professional peel where it was almost like healthy moist skin was peeling off every day for 4 days.

Better than the salons12/14/11I am extremely pleased with this product. I had a Jessner peel done in january and paid $200.00 for it. I was some what pleased with the results, but not 100%, thats why i went searching for something else. I read all the reviews for this product and gave it a shot. I am 120% pleased with my results. I could not believe how much better this product worked that the salon treatment. I had horrible looking skin from years of tanning beds and hyper-pigmentation from pregnancy and everyone was always asking my why my skin was so discolored. I have been self conscious for years about my appearance. Now I only wear powder for makeup, no more concealer or foundation. The instructions were awesome, it was like a real person is sharing information with you and your not just reading some boring piece of paper. I followed the directions exactly and my peel came out perfect. I want to thank you for such a great product and i have already told people where to get the same product i did. I would share pictures on here of my results but i don't see an upload for it. I am a customer for life. Thank you for my awesome results.

Great Jessner Peel12/14/11I bought the Jessner peel, this was my first at-home peel. I have been paying $395 per laser peel at the derm office. This peel is great! I had deep exfoliation and it removed the sun spots that I had on my cheek. The peel is very easy and you can make the peel as deep as you want by applying more coats of the peel. I'm very pleased!

Wonderful results12/14/11I have been getting $100.00 chemical peels at the dermatologist several times a year. This peel gave me better results. I would love to buy some of those! I am doing my peels at home from now on. Seriously if you can wash your own face and run a peice of gauze over it and use a fan you can do this peel. Make sure to follow the instructions exactly and I would do a patch test first if you have never had a peel before.

Worked for me12/1/11I originally had mine done at a dermatology clinic by an RN and the application process was a breeze and cost big bucks, so I decided to buy from naturalskinshop and do it myself and save. Of course, the burning sensation upon application was uncomfortable but I was given a mini handheld fan to help with that. Definitely nothing unbearable plus I knew what to expect since I'd had a peel before.
Moving on, I left the peel on the rest of the day and washed my face the next morning, no peeling only a shiny, tanned appearance. The peeling began on the 3rd day and MAJORLY peeling by the 4th day. I looked hideous, I didn't want to be seen! I didn't mess with it even when I had yucky looking loose pieces of dry skin hanging off my face.
The peeling was complete by the 7th day and I was very pleased with the results. The post acne marks I had have diminished to the slightest spots and my skin is a lot brighter and healthier looking. I have no wrinkles (I'm 30) so I can't say whether it helps with that or not but it cleaned up my post acne damage very well. Overall, I'm very happy and I'd gladly do it again :)

LIGHTEN AREAS OF HYPERPIGMENTATION
The Jessner Peel can be used to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation, treat mild acne and acne scars and to treat photo-damaged and aged, sun-damaged skin. Jessner peels achieve a more thorough peel than Alpha Hydroxy Acid peels and are appropriate for patients requiring deeper peeling.
TOP LAYERS OF SKIN
Jessner peels cause the top layers of skin to flake off while also stimulating the deeper layers of the skin. The top layers of skin are the most sun-damaged, wrinkled, unattractive layers of skin. After they are removed, the new fresh and younger-looking skin is revealed and brought to the surface.
DEEPER LAYERS OF SKIN
The deep layer of skin, the dermis, is also stimulated by the Jessner skin peel. This causes new fibroblasts and collagen to develop, reducing the depth of lines and wrinkles caused by aging. Repetitive peeling with Jessner’s peel improves tone, texture, and quality of the skin.
The depth of the Jessner peel is controlled by the number of layers applied (up to 8.) Repeated coats are applied until the white frost develops or until the stinging becomes unbearable. For a deep, effective peel, this usually takes 4 to 6 coats, after which one should continue to fan the face for several minutes until the pain sensation fades.
Rinse thoroughly with cool water and pat dry.
Darker skin types (particularly African American) should proceed with caution due to an increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from Resorcinol exposure.
