Applying a peel to the skin can dramatically turn over the skin's cells - shedding dead and damaged skin and replacing it with new, younger softer looking skin that has a more even skin tone and more youthful look. Dark spots and uneven skin tone can still persist even with more youthful and younger looking skin. To prevent the darkening process from occurring, you can add Alpha Arbutin Serum to the peel and exfoliation treatments you are already using. For example, if you are using a Glycolic Acid peel kit and have dark spots, also known as sun spots, simply apply the Alpha Arbutin Serum to the areas of concern. The great benefit of Alpha Arbutin is that it does not bleach the skin, rather it stops the darkening from happening by blocking Trosinase and preventing melanin from becoming activated, so its easier to achieve a brighter, consistent and more even skin tone.
